Evening Festivities – Independence Seaport Museum at Penn’s Landing @ 5:00 PM
Tuesday, August 7, 2007 – All docking information, t-shirt, and buttons will be distributed at the DRYL meeting. Please do not expect any of the following items till that evening including docking information.
Raffle Tickets
The Pageant is once again asking Delegates for help in distributing and selling raffle tickets to offset the cost of the Pageant and to help promote the event on August 11th. Please see Peggy Zielinski or Toni Nespola for your tickets tonight.
Princess Interviews Scheduled
Wednesday, August 8, 2007 – Preliminary Judging at Cannstatters
Dinner Buffet Served: 6:00 PM
Pageant Theme
The 2007 Pageant Theme is a Retro 70’s theme so be creative and come out and have some fun. The club that uses the Pageant Theme will earn an additional 10% of points going towards the total score for Best Decorated Club Award.
Independent Seaport Museum

ISM has rules and regulations due to the fact it is a museum. All flowers entering the building must be treated with pesticides. There is no food or beverage allowed to enter the property, lastly no animals.
Entering the ISM you will need to show your docking pass. The museum is closed for our event and they try to keep those not associated with the group out. Our group will be identified by our docking pass. I will be distributing these passes in advance so members can get them prior to arrival for those traveling by car.
Please do not get to the museum early you will not be able to enter till after 4:30 pm. Chairs are provided and no air horns will be permitted.
Each contestant and Queen will receive flowers from the DRYL to hold during the Pageant. If you choose to give your princess additional flowers please do so after the Pageant since she will not be able to carry them on stage with her.
Parking at Penn’s Landing is $15.00 per car during season for your information.
There is no scheduled events at this time for Penn’s Landing or the Festival Pier for 8/11/07.
PRINCESS FLOWERS
The DRYL will provide each princess and queen with a bouquet of flowers. Please do not give your princess any additional flowers till after the Pageant has concluded. She will not be able to carry anything other than the DRYL bouquet. Furthermore, all flowers entering the museum must be treated with a pesticide to protect the museum artifacts.
