OPENING: Meeting called to order @ 8:00pm by first
Vice President, John Maloney, who introduced Curtis Newfer, Bar Chairman. Bill is out with an eye infection. Curtis thanked everyone for coming. A moment of silence was held for Kathy
Maloney who died September 23, 2009.
GUEST SPEAKER: Michael Lang, Project
Director for the Camden Shipyard & Maritime Museum, who spoke about working
with kids, building boats and learning about boating. He is affiliated w/IBoat.com and will be
developing a ship museum in Camden. For

has not been formed yet regarding public access to marina property.
Pageant: Toni Nespola Toni is working on the 2009
pageant financials and will report next month.
Currently looks like $550 loss.
Picnic: Marie Houseworth Picnic
was Saturday, September 12th at Pennsylvania Yacht Club. Thanks to
Pennsylvania Yacht Club for grounds and help.
Marie also thanked all clubs and individuals who helped with
picnic. 151 attendees (adults & kids)
$3,732 turned in tonight. Profit of
$1504.55.

distributed a handout on Cold Water Boating.

people to help with yearbook for 2010.

Meetings started this week in Las Vegas. Bob will not be attending.
Pennsylvania Boating
Association - SE (PBA): Bill Garwood Last meeting at Anchor YC in Bristol, PA. Guest speaker from Bucks County Redevelopment
Authority presented 20 year plan for riverfront. Bob will try to get copies of brochures they

· Article in newspaper on Rails to Trails nothing related to power boating. John Maloney suggests we get someone on the committee so the boaters voice can be heard and that letters be written. Also, to be heard by waterfront developers such as casinos. Let them know the numbers we represent.

$2,937.00 while Phyllis Blackeby reported disbursements of $6,306.23, resulting
in a checkbook closing balance of $12,617.05.
