1967 Amphicar

This 1967 Amphicar was found and restored by Marquis Auto Restorations.  It was launched last week at Neshaminy State Marina.  Marquis Auto Restoration of Philadelphia  and Beyond Productions  are currently producing a new TV series for the National Geographic Channel which will document classic and collectible vehicles in regards to Barn Finds, Historical Data & how to complete Award Winning Restorations.  Beyond Productions came to the Neshaminy State Park on the Delaware River to film the launch of this unique and rare 1967 Amphicar.  Alan is seen posing with the car when he found her and then with it complete.  A couple NHYC members,  Norm Kent and Tony Williams,  were on hand to view the event and posed with Alan.  I am told the car will now make its way to Florida and will be on the auction block in January 2009 where the final episode will be filmed.  Thanks to NHYC Candyce Holmstrup for the pictures.
